March National Conversation: Senator Barbara Boxer
Our March 10th conversation features U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D - California), the chair of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, and a firm proponent of Cap and Trade legislation. Members of the National Conversation can participate in a call with the Senator, discussing her strategy:
• Setting enforceable short- and long-term emissions targets;
• Establishing a carbon market;
• Investing in clean technology; and
• Supporting efforts by local and state governments to deal with climate change.
